About the event
It is a blessing and honour to bring together these sacred practices of Yoga and Sound Healing to support our community throughout the seasons and it is so exciting to be back out in Nature.Â
Today is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, we are fully awake. Our spirits are alive, refreshed, renewed, energised; all that good, juicy, rich stuff we feel in the sun. On these long days of summer, our spirits yearn to be out, to feel alive, to be moving, and celebrating. A reminder to celebrate the light, life, and ourselves. We also have the Strawberry Full Moon on 22nd June so let us come together for this sun-loving and Full Moon ritual!
Myself and Gemma have put together the most magical and enchanting evening at Berry Head to bring you a unique experience that will support your whole being and connect with the universal energies.
The session will include breath-work to ground and connect with the body, grounding yoga flow to gently release stagnant energy and connect with our natural environment, and a healing sound bath experience to calm the nervous system and bring clarity to the mind. Combining the art of gentle mindful movement and sound healing to give ourselves some well-deserved love, kindness, and compassion. There will be essential oils used throughout to help ground and connect with the senses.
Wear comfortable clothing, bring your own mat if you have one, blanket, and a cushion so your cosy for the soundbath. Bring a bottle of water or maybe even a warm flask if you want something warm to drink.
*Meeting at Berry Head National Trust car park for 19:05pm and we will be on the green just next to the end of the car park. This is an outdoor event so is weather-dependent, please keep an eye out for emails during the week of the event.
