About the Event
We are super excited to be bringing you a chance to "go on a Yoga Retreat" while being safe at home.
Now more than ever do we need to carve out some time for ourselves, not only due to lockdown and all the other crazy of 2020 but as winter draws near and Christmas looms, it's good to check in with you and reconnect.
A real mix of Yoga styles and topics covered, some fun festive food treats, a chance to get your personal practice questions answered and lots more. Check out the weekend schedule below;
Saturday 28th Nov
>> 09:30 Morning Movement & Meditation Practice (led by Lizzie)
A gentle start followed by a more energising flow, finished off with a mini-meditation (approx 75 mins)
>> 11:00 Brunch Club (led by Vicki & Yan)
Enjoy your brunch while learning to make some yummy vegan treats, cook along or make another time, Ingredients will be emailed in advance with booking. (approx 60 mins)
>> 13:00 Philosophy Discussion (led by Lizzie)
An outline of the 8-limbs of Yoga, the basic principles of living a yogic lifestyle and some suggestions of how to integrate them into your practice and take them off of your mat. (approx. 120 mins depending on audience participation)
>> 16:00 Rocket (led by Lizzie)
A Playful & Powerful session focused on the Ashtanga sequence, Vinyasa style. Expect to be sweaty, strong and similing. (approx. 90 mins)
>> 19:15 Restore (led by Lizzie)
Turn the lights down, make a cup of tea, grab some cushions and a blanket and let's relax. (approx 60 mins)
Sunday 29th Nov
>> 10:00 Chakras 101 (led by Nicola)
Explore how Yoga and Guided Meditation can awaken & balance the Energy Body known as the Chakras, bringing harmony and balance to our bodies and minds. (approx 120 mins)
>> 12:30 Your Personal Practice Questions
Ask Lizzie & Nicola questions regarding your home practice, and we will share some of our favourite yoga things, maybe pop them on your Christmas list.
>> 14:00 Easy Flow (led by Nicola)
A chilled flow to ease you into the afternoon, lots of twists and side-stretches ending with a long guided meditation. (approx 60 mins)
>> 15:00 Thank You/Questions
All sessions will be between 45-120 minutes. The Zoom Room will be open pretty much all day for chit-chat and questions as if we were really hanging out for the whole weekend.
