About the Event
Chakra comes from the Sankrit word meaning 'wheel' or 'disk' connecting the visible, physical, self with our 'subtle' body or 'aura'. The Chakra System can work like a map of energy that acts as gears, moving our vehicle along its path. Every journey is unique and using this map system can help us find our way when faced with challenges or choices. We will begin by breaking down the chakra system so we have a basic understanding of each of the seven major chakras that run along the spine and learn how to recognise blocked chakras. Followed by a Yoga Flow showing which asanas help to open certain chakras and a long Guided Meditation aimed to help bring balance to these seven chakras. At the end we will reflect, discuss how crystals can help to awaken & heal chakras and journal our thoughts.
